Long live Big Country! What a great crowd, it brings out the best in Stuart and the band.
PDX horror!!!
Stu fronting for my main line band Kansas!!!
Maravilhoso!!!
💖💖💖
A band 10 times greater live than they were on record. That said, The Crossing is one of the greatest debut albums ever.
Thank you for posting this video - there’s not nearly enough Big Country on the innarwebz. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 👍🏼🤘🏼🔥❤️❤️❤️
This non 3 way split original version was also used the very first time that UK Gold did a run through of Dallas in the UK so it was seen on TV screens in the UK in 1992
STUART . RIP . such a brilliant band ... The first time I saw them was as support for U2 in 1983 on the WAR Tour ... amazing .. Actually - more musically advanced than the Headliner - sorry @ Bono, Adam, Larry + Edge - you guys were also fantastic at the Hammy Palais that night ... 31.03.83 - still have the T ;)
Brilliant
danke, einfach nur danke.
I swear Stuart is like a few like Bryam Adams who could play a good riff, say anything, and it'd sound cool. Ah, The Gift.
Great Band. RIP Stuart.
Stuart was a King of Emotion. Gone but not forgotten. RIP ❤
The daft end, who breath scotland.
Scotland, wit a place.
Big Country is the best band to come out in the last 45 years and William Stuart Adamson is the coolest rocker ever!!!What a great band!!
I was there and I was young !! What a great band!
46:28 Guitar pit stop
All about how conservatism and neoliberalism destroy families and shatters communities. They were both peerless musicians and their lyrics pointed to social justice. Today such a combination in popular media is impossible to find.
They were awesome 👏 at the Glasgow Barra’s New Years Concert! 🤩
It is similar to the last two years and reunion films
I'm in there somewhere. Awesome gig. RIP Stuart, you total legend!
Being a Whistle Test special tickets were free..Support by The lotus Eaters.Loved The Skids..couldn't get into this lot,but I tried! That's me looking bored in the balcony.
I have been there... 🙏 It was such an amazing concert... Stuart will never be forgotten ❤️
It was seen by many, if you around in 1978!
Tremendous as always! Who is playing keyboards here?
Big Country was the best live band ever. Even their sound check gave me chills when I arrived early at an outdoor concert back in 85.
The Drums, it's The Drums as much as any other element.
stu was one of the most gifted rock guitarists of all time. why is it so criminally ignored in every "best guitar player voting" ???
Seen live twice back in the day and in recent times Awesome
That was excellent. Massive sing-along. Still know the words after all these years.
I went to the Webley Arena gig which I think was part of the same tour. It was my first gig and to this day I have never seen a better live band. Had the pleasure of seeing them a couple of years ago in Fleet, Hants. No Stuart of course but still bloody brilliant. My lad who was 11 at the time wanted to go too so incredibly they became his first ever gig as well
Sublime 🎵 💜 🎵
Still here 2021 .the good old days Great band .great playing great songs 👍😷..i think the peeps that hit the dislike button are U2 fans 😝
Scotland .
Im listening to this in UK i have so many times but i want to listen into the new year, i love you so much Stuart
Saw them perform at Manhattan's Roseland Ballroom. I also watched the Pogues play there earlier. Irish beat the Scots hands down.
Celtic war on tour
Still miss Stuart everyday...
So true. Don't think the music industry appreciated Stuart done with The Skids and Big country.
Great to see the crowd really into it.pity the radio stations didn't feel the same
This is defo one of there best live shows, i hardly ever listen to recordings just live stuff.
INWARDS !!!!!
hate the encore cover versions, but this is actually a better gig than I thought. some said SA wasn't meant to be a frontman for a rock band, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone interact with an audience better. he can even "play an audience" to the point of going "ssshh" to silence them or wave his hand to get them going again. no shortage of between song banter either. the intro of tb and then the comment "he's not that good" certainly made me laugh: 1:13:54
Stuart A - Big loss. thanks for the music ...
Amazed they didnt sell more records in the US,looks like a sell out gig in a large venue....
This looked like a great gig and a big crowd...amazed they didntvsell
I won tickets to this gig, and they happily did arrive, it was an amazing night, Stuart and BC never let me down on the numerous times I saw them. How we miss Stuart he had so much left to give,
Ich war dabei .....
GOD, I MISS THAT MAN SO MUCH, it hurts!😢
Killer show!
And not a mobile in sight, when concert goers went to actually watch
